English Translation
I welcome good-faith discussions on my articles. So, whoever wishes to do so, is free to comment. However, there are some ground rules. More specifically:
- I use default WordPress comment settings. This means that the first comment a user submits must be manually approved by me, while the next are automatically published.
- For spam protection reasons, comments with more than two (2) links in them must always be inspected and approved by me.
- If a comment of yours has been “captured” in the moderation list without one of the aforementioned reasons applying, I will handle it as soon as possible.
- You may comment anonymously, pseudonymously, or with your real name. After all, for me it’s the content of the message that counts above all.
- Just because a comment of yours was approved (manually or automatically) for publication here does not in any way constitute proof of my endorsement, agreement or disagreement with the opinions expressed in it.
- You are fully and exclusively responsible for your comments.
- To ensure the smooth functioning of the blog and for the protection of myself and other commenters, I reserve the right to remove comments that are abusive, libelous, or designed to start a “flame war”. For these reasons, I also reserve the right to remove the right to submit further comments from any commenter, as well as take other measures, if it is necessary.
- Although I have no real problem with the use of swear words per se, there’s a difference between the use of swear words as a form of free speech and their use for intimidation and censorship. Furthermore, comments that are exceedingly “rich” in expletives end up having a very low signal-to-noise ratio. So, please avoid gratuitously using this kind of speech.
- Ad hominem attacks on me or other commenters, especially carefully disguised in fake courteousness, are not tolerated.
